I came to your blog while googling the names of my old friends who meant a lot to me. I was looking for your cousin, Adlin Nadhrah. We were classmates (darjah 1 Ma'wa) in Sekolah Islam Adni back in 2001. I know that it's creepy and everything plus I'm not giving in my name so you can't verify if I'm telling the truth but I plead to you that I am and I need you to do me a favour. I need you to pass on this message to her. Please.
Dear Nadhrah,
After you left Adni, things changed... a lot. If you were to go there again, you won't recognise it. Neither can I although I left in 2005 (you did in 2002). Adni was where I grew up in. That's my home; where my heart was... is, still. I know that I may be no more than a chink of fossil that exist in your memory but you were a lot more to me. I just want you to know that I've never forgotten you. I still miss you even till now, after so long. If you still remember the places of our classroom (when we were in the dark room not the one with glass wall), you were at the back of the class. I was one of two girls sitting in the second row from the front.
Btw, Nabilah. You know what struck me hard? You've got her eyes and a bit of her face. I almost thought you two were the same person. But she isn't yet 17. I still remember your birthday Nadhrah. It's in my old diary :)

p/s: I know we spoke Malay back then but like I said, Adni changed and I was swept into the revolution. English suits me better now. Most of the 11 girls of 1 Ma'wa had left Adni. Only 2 are left. Mawaddah and Fareeda. You remember them kan? This year would be their last in Adni, Form 5. How fast time flies...

ReplyDeleteI was like really shocked when i read your message last year but i dont know what to do then. That's why you did not receive any respond from me. I'm so sorry. Because seriously, life in adni is kinda blurry in my mind. So i cant remember you from those thing you had described. But please if you can tell me your name, i am sure insyaAllah that i'll be able to recall my memories. Your message..it touched my heart. My bad that i cant even think on how am i supposed to react after i'd been informed about you last year. Till this year, i just found back this entry and now that i know what i need to do. I know its too late to send this comment, maybe you've forgotten about this entry but i really pray to Allah that one day He will guide you back here and i beg you to tell me who are you. Please..

P/s: i still remember mawaddah and fareedah. At that time 2001-2002, they both were small and cute. Same to aiman amani (if i'm not mistaken her name) she was younger then all of us right plus she was really afraid of thunder. I remember several times i found her crying at the edge of any room while pressing both of her ears :) and beautiful tahirah with her mom teacher sarah, teaching at raudhah (kindergarten in adni, sorry if i got the name wrong) they moved some where i cant remember but she said that they'll come back to adni, syazliana if i'm not mistaken was paired with me as my twin :D siti mariam with her cute round face and chinese look, raihan the vice pres in 1 ma'wa, nur adlin the talkative girl :) i dont know which one is you or if i didnt mention your name, pardon me. For boys, aiman azman, haziq, fitri, hadi and zahid (names that poped out from my head. Not sure if i'm wrong. Hee) please please please Allah, i'm hoping to get incontact back with all of them and especially you :) aminn
